The best money advice I have is this: save every coin you acquire. I spent years trying to figure out what to do with all my loose change I'd get for paying with cash. I finally figured it out. I separated all my quarters out and placed them in a small bowl. (I started doing this my freshman year of high school, and saved enough quarters to last me all four years of coin laundry in college!) Then, I took all my nickels, dimes, and pennies, and put them in a large mason jar. It took a few years, but when the mason jar was full I brought it to a CoinStar and traded the money in for an Amazon gift card (CoinStar doesn't take a percentage for that, only if you want cash) and I had made almost $50! I never used my spare change as it was, and by saving it aside I was able to buy something really cool!
