I have been going to school on and off for the last 6 years and I didn't accept the loans of financial aid until I absolutely had to. The best part is the grants you don't have to pay back. If you do find yourself needing to accept a loan, make sure to pay it back as soon as you can and you'll be just fine. Don't take more than you can handle paying back. If your plans change or fall through on the career you have chosen you always need a back up plan. My advice is simple, be responsible with what you get and if you do take out a loan, then make sure you can pay it back on time by having a job or your foot in the door of your career. Going back to school is the best thing one can do, no one is ever too old or busy to learn something everyday. reach for hat you want, think about your dreams and goals and once you have it figured out jump at the chance you get to take what you want.
