Mind games can help you save money!


First, setting a certain amount out of each check to be put into savings gets you used to "not having that money". By having your bank take that money out automatically, you don't feel the loss of that amount. You can add to that amount, making it 5 or 10 dollars more, gradually. This will help save for things you want to do or pay off debt, by tricking yourself, so to speak.


Also, waiting 30 days to buy something will help you not buy things on a whim or based on emotion. This is a huge savings tool!
