I know we are all busy with classes, and even probably some part time jobs, but every student needs to clear some time to apply for scholarships. Take the time once a week to write a thoughtful essay, gather some recommendations and apply apply apply.  Just one scholarship can add up to a month's work if you only receive minimum wage. I know the chances seem slim, but apply anyway. Someone has to win, so why can't that be you? Work hard to gain meaningful relationships with your professors for some great recommendations, and get your essays reviewed by English tutors. A scholarship is better than a loan any day.
