Right out of high school I went straight to college. My priorities were not stellar at the time and I ended up flunking out after my second semester and managed to rack up a significant amount of student loans in the process. Once I managed to pay them off, I decided I was not going to go into debt in order to get an education. I started seeking out companies that had tuition reimbursement plans. It took a little longer to complete my degree than a normal path student might take, but this spring I graduated with my bachelors degree and did not pay for it. I will be starting my masters degree in January using the same method. I am working and getting the experience that employers are in demand for while taking care of my educational needs on their dime. I strongly encourage everyone to seek out these programs. They are very under utilized!
